Plate It Forward

International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate women’s achievements across the globe and to elevate visibility.

The IWD theme this year is to #breakthebias which is why Capstone chose to work alongside Plate It Forward for the day, a Sydney based charity who use the universal love of food as a force for positive, sustainable change for those who need it most.

Every week Plate It Forward donates over 1,000 meals to the local community, with 170,000 meals being donated since they started the movement. The team at Capstone helped to plate up this quality food while also learning to cook up a traditional Sri Lankan curry and a vegan Panna cotta!

Thanks so much to Shaun and the team at Plate It Forward for hosting such a positive and eye opening experience. If you would like to get involved, please follow this link to learn about their packages.
