Role Overview
Reporting to Principal Engineer, you will play a key role as a Senior Process Engineer, designing, analyzing, and optimising process systems for a diverse range of projects across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive process engineering services across the Concept Select, Define, FEED, and Detailed Design phases of projects.
- Conduct complex process engineering calculations, including steady-state and dynamic process simulation modeling.
- Prepare essential Process Engineering drawings, including P&IDs, PFDs, and heat/material balances.
- Lead a small team of process engineers to ensure high-quality work is delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Chartered Engineer or RPEQ certification required
- Proven experience leading process engineering teams on mid-scale greenfield and brownfield projects (including Concept Studies, FEED, and Detailed Design)
- Strong understanding of relevant theories, codes, and standards within the Process discipline
- Design engineering experience in the Hydrocarbon, Petrochemical, or Water industries
- Experienced in HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL studies as the focal Process Engineer
- Proficiency with industry-standard software, including HYSYS or Unisim
