The Role
As a high-profile leader of the Transactions & Reporting team, you’ll provide commercial and technical support to the broader finance community and business across the application of accounting policy, financial reporting requirements and in support of M&A and Development activity.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Deliver practical, relevant and commercial financial accounting solutions to achieve strategic and financial objectives.
- Provide transaction support on asset and corporate (M&A) transactions. across the Group including leading financial due diligence and impact assessments.
- Proactively manager central reporting timetables.
- Delivery of Board papers.
- Assess impact of new accounting standards and assist their implementation across the platform.
- Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as required.
- CA/CPA qualification
- Demonstrated experience in technical accounting/reporting role within listed or chartered.
- Strong technical accounting & analytical skills
- Thorough understanding of Australian Tax & Accounting standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent team leadership, management, and coaching skills.
