Our client is an Australian owned Property Development and Investment Group that specialise in delivering high end mixed use, urban development and residential projects. Led by a highly regarded Exec team they have an exceptional development pipeline, access to large scale institutional investment, and are entering a period of accelerated growth.
The Role
Sitting in the Construction business whilst reporting through to the Group CFO, you’ll be responsible for the project accounting, financial reporting and cost/variance analysis for several high profile Development Projects.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Month end project accounting, financial reporting, cash-flow forecasting and cost control analysis.
- Monthly reporting on variances (actuals vs budgets) and project performance analysis
- Control of the GL across all projects, including reconciliations, preparation of journals, cost transfers and revenue adjustments
- Monthly WIP calculation.
- Overhead cost allocation.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following skills and experience.
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Relevant Construction/Project Accounting experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Cheops/JobPac experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
