Key Responsibilities:
- Complete detailed engineering design to implement or improve EI&C systems and installations.
- Perform technical calculations to ensure compliance with Australian & International Standards.
- Develop and supervise detailed EI&C design drawings to an Issued for Construction (IFC) level.
- Produce and review engineering reports, calculations, and technical specifications for equipment, instrumentation, materials, hardware, and software.
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and designers.
- Assist in project scoping, including defining scope, sequencing tasks, and estimating costs, time, and resources.
- Maintain high-quality project outputs in line with company Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and colleagues, both on-site and in-office.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
- Minimum 3+ years’ engineering design experience in Water, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical industries.
- Proven track record in EI&C system design from concept to commissioning.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and construction teams.
- Knowledge of construction methods and ability to collaborate on design & construct projects.
- Familiarity with Australian & International Standards, including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008, AS/NZS 60079 series, and others.
- Capability to evaluate work practices, implement systems, and suggest process improvements.
