Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Enterprise Architect to join their team in Melbourne on a permanent basis. This role will define and maintain the overarching architectural vision, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while leading the integration and standardisation of technology across the organisation.
The successful candidate will possess a strategic outlook, technical expertise, and strong collaboration skills to develop IT solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate technology solutions for consistency, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop IT solutions that enhance business value.
- Solve complex technical challenges with scalable, secure architectural decisions.
- Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Monitor emerging technologies and recommend innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps to support current and future business needs.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, business leaders, and external partners.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks to ensure system reliability and resilience.
- Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of enterprise architecture.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential. GCP Certification is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in enterprise architecture, aligning IT strategies with business goals.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with business partners, translating complex needs into scalable architectural solutions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills at all levels.
- Experience in creating architectural roadmaps, technology integration, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical frameworks for development teams.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, with a track record of driving process improvements and best practices.
