Real Estate Fund Manager and REIT with a national portfolio covering Industrial/Logistics, Office and Retail assets.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join the NSW team. You’ll support the ongoing management and performance of a portfolio of Industrial/Logistics, working alongside senior Property and Asset Managers to deliver operational excellence and strong tenant engagement.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of commercial property experience looking to step up and build a long-term career in institutional real estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of industrial assets across NSW
- Monitor and maintain arrears reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing tenants
- Assist with OPEX invoice processing, coding, and budget alignment
- Support monthly expense accruals and basic accounting tasks
- Prepare and review monthly property management reports, including commentary on variances and estate matters
- Conduct tenancy schedule audits and cross-reference lease and deed documentation
- Contribute to compliance processes including Certificate of Currency, insurance, and bank guarantee audits
- Assist with drafting tenant correspondence and lease administration tasks
- Handle routine tenant issues and coordinate solutions with contractors and service providers
- Support property presentation and operational standards across the portfolio
- Assist in tenant renewals and market review processes
- Help prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- 1–2 years of experience in commercial property management, ideally with exposure to industrial or office assets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to liaise confidently with tenants, contractors, and senior stakeholders
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Exposure to property systems such as MRI is an advantage
- Motivated to learn, grow and take on more responsibility over time
