The Company

Our client is a market leading Construction Group currently delivering some of the most high-profile Commercial, Industrial and Residential construction projects across Australia.

The Role.

As a key member of the Financial Control team, you’ll play a leading role in the delivery of the group’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial/management and tax reporting obligations, oversee Treasury, prepare board reports and will champion the accuracy and integrity of reporting processes.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of year end accounts and audit requirements.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and Board reports.
• Monthly review and reforecasting of overhead expenses.
• Cashflow forecasting and analysis.
• Tax reporting (FST, FBT, PAYG, Income Tax)
• Ad-hoc project and analysis as required

The Successful Applicant:

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• CA/CPA qualification.
• Strong attention to detail, yet ability to see the big picture
• Strong Excel skills with an ability to identify efficiencies and automation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Understanding of ASIC and ATO Taxation requirements
• Construction/Infrastructure industry experience/knowledge will be highly regarded.
