The Opportunity

You will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the group through the formation of strategy and identification of opportunities. As the Research Manager you are responsible for delivering research and analysis in relation to strategic themes and market conditions to support investment plans and decision making.
As the Research Manager, the key responsibilities are as follows:

• Analyse property market conditions to provide recommendations for decisions regarding acquisitions, divestments and developments
• Deliver house view forecasts for the Office, Industrial and/or Retail Sectors
• Prepare reports and commentaries including quarterly reports, white papers and investment papers
• Contribute to thought leadership and Topical Issues papers on valuable strategic issues
• Present views to internal and external customers as needed
• Conduct GIS mapping as required to support research
• Support business process improvement initiatives including improvement of master models

  
  
The Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have 2-4 years prior property research or analysis experience across the commercial Australian markets. They will have strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills teamed with written capabilities able to collate and publish end to end reports. They will have a thorough understanding of real estate mechanisms and genres, as well as an ability to communicate with investment professionals.
